Shirley Park

Storyboard Artist
Shirley Park recently began her professional career by writing story templates and analyzing existing tropes to generate marketing narratives automatically for Seerflix, Inc., in Seattle, WA. She earned her B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and her Master’s degree in 2015 from Carnegie Mellon University(CMU)’s Entertainment Technology Center. Ms. Park is also experienced at writing prose and dialogue, as well as computer programming, and has used her skills to direct such creative projects as “Cat Scratch,” “Palimpsest,” and “Through the Dark” while still a student at CMU. Additionally, she designed and helped lead “Build Something,” a game jam with an interactive web experience; and River Rail, a Disney Imaginations Competition entry. Shirley also worked to coordinate an annual meeting of the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House. ChoreoNova, Inc. is so pleased to be able to use her varied talents to develop the storyline for “Ode to Chocolate Cake,” its current mixed-media projection and performing arts piece.
